CELEBRATE THE AUGUST METEOR SHOWERS AT CRANE POINT
Marathon, FL (August 5, 2013) Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, in conjunction with the Florida Keys Astronomy Club, will hold a Meteor Shower Party, Saturday, August 10, beginning at 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. Join us for stargazing, meteor watching, games, giveaways and more. Cost is $6 per person. This event is weather-permitting.
Meet at the entrance to Crane Point Museum no later than 8 p.m. for entry to the park. Bring blankets or chairs and dress for an evening outdoors. Closed-toe shoes are best for walking the trail and bring a flashlight for the return trip.
