Hook, Line & Feather
Charter fishing
Est. 2012
Hook, Line, and Feather offers visitors and locals a day on the water to target offshore or inshore species including flats fishing with fly rod or spincasting rod.
“Our knowledge of the Florida Keys and specialized fish finding equipment ensures our customers have the best day possible on the water,” said Capt. Dick Waltz.
Waltz and two partners — Capt. Danny Aldrige and first mate Todd Render have a wealth of information to share with their clients. Waltz has been fishing for 45 years and has a 100-ton Captains License. He’s also a professional guide in Maine, but
has spent the past six years fly-rodding in the Keys (he’s also a competent spin caster). Aldridge also has a 100-ton Captains License and is a born-and-raised Conch with plenty of experience on Keys waters, and also in the Bahamas and South America. Render has been fishing the Keys for 14 years. He’s an avid fly fisherman and no slouch when it comes to poling around the Keys in search of bonefish, permit and tarpon. Hook, Line & Feather has a variety of craft to ensure that it can meet the demands of Keys fishing on any given day. It has a 33-foot Grady White, a 23-foot Panga and a Maverick flats boat. The crew has won a multitude of fishing tournaments ranging from dolphin to tuna, marlin or sailfish.
Hook, Line & Feather is a member of the Marathon Chamber of Commerce.
