SWC, Sandra Walters Consultants, is an environmental, planning and communications consultant company for public and private sector clients. SWC provides consulting services to clients to accomplish land use objectives, such as docks, homes, marinas, businesses, and related infrastructure, like road rights-of-way, electric, water and wastewater, and includes the planning, permitting and representation with elected and appointed officials.
Established in 1997, SWC has been committed to top-quality work that meets the standards of its clients as well as all regulatory agencies. SWC stays current with local, state and federal regulations, working with clients to develop the most cost-effective approaches to accomplish their goals. SWC cares about its clients and is proactive in keeping clients informed regarding project progress, as well as challenges and concerns that arise with measures to address and minimize them. SWC is a member of the Marathon, Islamorada, Key Largo, Lower Keys and Key West chambers of commerce. The president of the company, Sandy Walters, is a member of the South Florida Regional Planning Council appointed by three governors and is currently serving as chair. She also serves on EPA’s Water Quality Steering Committee for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Several employees participate with other volunteer organizations.
