CRANE POINT MUSEUM  LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

MARATHON, FL (July 29, 2013)  –  Crane Point Museum and Nature Center, located at mile marker 50 in Marathon, is looking for volunteers.  This is a great opportunity to give back to your community and have some fun at the same time.  Crane Point is an ecological park and museum of natural history, located in the heart of the Florida Keys; a place that will take you back in time to enjoy the beauty and serenity of our tropical treasure.

We have a current need for volunteer assistance in the museum gift shop but we are also looking for summer trolley drivers.  Gift shop helpers and trolley drivers are scheduled on a part-time, flexible schedule and allow one to work as much or as little as you like.  Other volunteer opportunities include assisting with special events, fundraising, distributing flyers and landscaping.  It’s a learning opportunity and a special way to meet people from all over the world.

Please contact Loretta Geotis at 305-743-3900 if you would like to become a volunteer at Crane Point Museum and Nature Center.
