Marathon, FL (October 9, 2013, 2013)  –  Long-time educator-entertainer and children’s author, Elizabeth Moore, will present a “Little Sprouts” Nature Program at Crane Point Museum and Nature Center  located at 5550 Overseas Highway in Marathon on Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

This month’s theme is “Orange is the Color of October.”  The program is designed as a parent-child event for two- and three-year olds and begins at10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Cracker House building located at Crane Point.  The program consists of a story or poem reading time, arts and crafts and outdoor activities.

Children and parents will love the heart-warming stories and amusing crafts about the native plants and local wildlife as well as the outdoor adventures.

Participants should come dressed for outdoor play and indoor crafts and should wear closed-toe shoes. No sandals, please.

Cost of the program is $5 per child and is limited to the first 15 children who sign up.  This is not a drop-off program.
