Spiegel Grove Fish ID Seminar and Fish Survey Dive
ISLAMORADA, August 23, 2017 – On Sunday September 3rd, join the History of Diving Museum and REEF for a specialized Fish ID Seminar @ 10:00 AM, in addition followed by a double dip dive on the Spiegel Grove to conduct Fish Survey dives. Carlos and Allison Estape, History of Diving Museum members and also fish identification experts will be conducting the seminar focusing on species found on the Spiegel Grove.
Registration is just $15, and also easy to do online. Proceeds going to support the Spiegel Grove Exhibit, and also Educational Outreach. Once registered HDM will direct you to local participating dive centers to book your boat spot, additional boat fees apply.

The History of Diving Museum special exhibit honoring the USS Spiegel Grove closes Labor Day—Monday, September 4th. The exhibit features artifacts highlighting those who served on this great ship, missions it participated in, the efforts preparing her for sinking and also the environmental impact she’s had on the area. Learn about how the Name Plaques of Lifetime Medallion holders helped support the artificial reef effort.
